Before you go to the beach with Katari you must change your MC sexual preferences to TOP /DOMINANT, then after you have your drinks at the seedy bar and go to the beach Katari will reluctantly accept being made to bottom sexually.

Have you saved the game before you fight him? Or you can search if there's Auto save and try again (optional, you can go to setting and lower the Difficulty).
If you don't have any saved game before the fight I'm sorry and good luck with playing again from the start and try level up.

There are only three planets so far, excluding the asteroid. If you haven't been able to find them yet, than you need to focus more on the main story until then.

When traveling on the ship (aka world select) there is an explorer button, (like when unlocking areas in the city) hope this helps :D
